IMG_E0077To visit sky-bridge at 41st, 42nd floor, an observation deck on the 86th floor, one must need to purchase a ticket at the ticket counter in concourse level or in online through advanced booking. Either you must book early in online or you must go early morning to get the ticket which is opposite the Petronas twin towers gift shop in the lower level (concourse level). If you are standing in front of Twin towers you will be disappointed because there will be so many people that you can’t even see the fireworks while standing in front of the towers.

How to reach:

  • Every 5 minutes there is train LRT from KL Sentral to KLCC which passes through Pasar Seni station (china town). The KLCC LRT station is right below the Suria KLCC and twin towers so you can easily walk through from the LRT station to Petronas towers. I would recommend the train which is easy to go and takes less time to reach
  • There are also GOKL (pink color) buses which the Malaysian government kept for free tourism around KL. You need to get on the red line bus to get to terminal Pekeliling to get down and hop on a blue line bus which takes you to pavilion near Bukit Bintang. Get down at pavilion catch the green line bus which takes you to KLCC. I would recommend this to travelers who don’t want to spend their money on sightseeing. There is also some RapidKL buses which lead to KLCC from KL Sentral you can ask at the counter in front of KL Sentral mall.
  • If you want to have a comfortable walk through the Bukit Bintang area in KL, you need to reach the pavilion mall inside and there is a pedestrian bridge that connects directly to the Impian KLCC hotel. From there get down the elevator and pass through aquaria, you will find the tunnel leading to the KLCC towers. The walking distance is about 1.2 km long from the pavilion to KLCC. The pedestrian bridge closed from 11 pm.

You can come by grab or taxi, drivers will take around 10-20RM. Don’t pay more than that to any taxi driver. I won’t recommend coming by car or taxi unless you have a family with more than 3 people.
