As you descend the Jalan Alor street starting. you will see that food street becomes massage centres, which then becomes nightclubs for partying.
None of the bars charges an entrance fee- unless they open until 6pm, But you have to buy the drink once entering the bar in changkat. You can casually stroll around from one bar to another to which suits you the best. This street is always filled with people at night time, if you are a local or foreigner staying here for a long time, you are bound to bump into someone you know. It will get busy especially during the weekends and public holidays. Based on the new owners, new music and new decorations, the crowd will often change too. It might be a good idea to know the bars and clubs to have enough fun before entering.

There are some famous clubs and bars with good entertaining music in Changkat street are Zion, Pisco, Why Not, Havana, Opium, Rock Bottom, Uptown and Latin Tropical Yoko’s. Along with these clubs nearby to Bukit Bintang are Trek, Zouk, Heli Lounge Bar and Sky Bar which are most famous for its nightlife. The Changkat nights are still young and go on till the after-hours as the place transforms itself into a dance floor. This two floored party bars welcome crowds of music lovers who flock from right across Bukit Bintang and beyond. Although the alcohol is quite expensive in bars, once you enter the place you will be satisfied with the music and environment. Some clubs will charge 50RM for entering the club, it’s your choice whether to go or not to this clubs.

How to Reach:
Changkat is easier to reach by Monorail or MRT to see the nightlife of Bukit Bintang. You must cross the Jalan Alor food street while getting down the road through the massage centres. Once you reach the middle of this place, you will find Hotel Soleil and seven eleven stores. The street filled with different bars and clubs infront of you is the Changkat.
You can reach this place by free bus if you are near to the bus stop area. Though these free pink buses are limited to some places, when you are in the vicinity of that area you can find it easy to hop on.
All the transits are easier to reach this place since it is in the centre of Kuala Lumpur city.
